Digital Media Intern | The Provider Support Group

The Tone:
This is an internship at The Provider Support Group, offering remote and flexible work options. The company is dedicated to enhancing the quality of service and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and their caregivers, utilizing innovation to improve services. They also provide professional support and assistance to both prospective and current Intellectual Developmental Disability service providers, with a mission to assist new providers in establishing solid foundations. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in creating engaging digital content that promotes these vital services and the organization’s mission. As an intern, you will contribute directly to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to reach their full potential and will be a part of a mission-driven organization, gaining mentorship and making a meaningful impact within the non-profit sector.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Social Media Strategy: Create compelling social media content designed to align with the organization’s mission and core values.
• Visual Content Creation: Design impactful graphics for various marketing materials, the company website, and all social media platforms.
• Website Content Management: Assist in the ongoing management and updating of the company website, ensuring content remains relevant and current.
• Email Marketing Execution: Coordinate and execute comprehensive email marketing campaigns to engage stakeholders and promote services.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze digital media performance metrics to track campaign effectiveness and reach.
• Strategic Recommendations: Stay current on industry trends and actively recommend strategies for continuous improvement in digital media efforts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career, pursuing a degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in graphic design tools, specifically Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), combined with solid knowledge of various social media platforms and fundamental digital marketing concepts.
• Skills: Strong writing abilities and effective communication skills for crafting engaging content and interacting with team members.
• Bonus: Experience with content management systems and email marketing platforms, along with the proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
