This entry-level Level 1 Technician position is crucial for maintaining the functionality of a dynamic data center environment. While initially a long-term contract, this role offers significant growth opportunities, including the potential to transition to a direct Full-Time Employee (FTE) of Vision Technology, where leadership roles and increased pay are possible.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Pull and route various types of cabling throughout designated areas within the data center.
• Efficiently assemble, stack, and drill racks to prepare for equipment installation.
• Accurately scan, label, and port incoming and existing equipment.
• Provide general installation support and assistance as directed by experienced technicians.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position for individuals eager to learn and grow within a data center environment.
• Experience: A history of working in physically demanding environments such as construction, trades, or military roles. Candidates must demonstrate a strong history of reliable attendance.
• Skills: Pulling cable, low voltage, manual labour, Cat5, electrical.
• Bonus: Hands-on electrical or military experience is highly valued. Ability to work safely and effectively on ladders and lifts. A strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential. An ideal candidate is a hard worker who wants to grow into leadership roles within the organization, demonstrating honesty and reliability.
