Work Experiences You Could Be Exposed To

  • Market Dynamics: Immerse yourself in IBM Technology and Red Hat solutions. You will collaborate with dynamic teams, assist clients in navigating complex technical solutions, conduct vital research, and refine competitive strategies to ensure market leadership.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provide essential support for workshops, meetings, and interviews designed to understand and document client requirements. You will collaborate with diverse teams to capture and synthesize critical information effectively.
  • Operational Excellence: Contribute to operational improvements by designing models aimed at delivering a seamless client experience, thereby contributing to heightened efficiency and effectiveness in operational processes.
  • Project Exposure: Gain hands-on experience by shadowing product teams and observing enterprise-wide use cases for IBM Technology and Red Hat solutions. You will contribute to AI, Data Analytics, Automation, and Red Hat projects, actively participating in IBM Consulting implementations across major platforms.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Currently pursuing a university degree with a demonstrated track record of academic success.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills that foster collaboration and effective relationship building, while also competently managing dynamic workloads in an agile environment.
  • Exhibit initiative and a passion to actively seek new knowledge and improve skills, embracing a growth mindset to assimilate diverse viewpoints.
  • Demonstrate leadership experience and the ability to communicate effectively through active listening; be willing to adapt and ready to take ownership of tasks and challenges.
  • Can understand clients’ needs and challenges, applying a creative and logical approach to identify effective solutions.
  • A passion for innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to understand and assimilate different points of view.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, while maintaining focus in an environment with conflicting demands.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Math, MIS, Engineering, Business Management, Finance.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate foundational quantitative analysis skills and the ability to develop data-driven recommendations.
  • Exposure to AI Concepts and programming languages, with a basic understanding of Hybrid Cloud (e.g., IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and simple financial models.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies or tools (e.g., Agile, Jira) is a plus.
  • Involvement in leadership programs/student organizations, clubs, or P-TECH.
  • Interest in developing a consulting career in strategy, data, or business transformation.
