Job Title: Early Career Components Engineer

We are seeking an early career components engineer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced defense systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct or participate in the selection, evaluation, qualification, testing, and failure analysis of Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical, and Electro-optical (EEEE) Components.
  • Plan, direct, review, and coordinate the preparation of project documentation to ensure compliance with customer, contract, and company requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or a related Engineering or STEM Degree.
  • Experience/Knowledge: Formal coursework, training, experience, and/or knowledge in the design, analysis, and/or construction of electrical parts and circuits.
  • Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance.
  • Citizenship: US citizenship is required.

Desired Skills

  • Experience evaluating EEE parts for use in aerospace applications.
  • Familiarity with a variety of EEE parts, including integrated circuits, transistors, diodes, and capacitors.
  • Familiarity with EEE parts testing, failure analysis, and non-conformance resolution.
  • Familiarity with or formal coursework in semiconductor physics and/or operation of parts such as hybrids, integrated circuits, transistors, diodes, and capacitors.
  • Non-conformance and failure analysis disposition experience.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from a standard 40 hours over a five-day work week, while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on the start date during the calendar year.

National Pay Statement

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $57,500 – $101,430.

Premium Pay Statement

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $66,200 – $114,655.
