Role Description:

We are seeking a proactive and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team for the Bobbe Active women’s tennis and golf apparel brand. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of digital marketing within the apparel industry. The intern will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and engaging with our target audience. This is a hybrid role based in Grand Prairie, TX, offering a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the conceptualization, creation, and scheduling of engaging social media content across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest).
  • Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to identify new opportunities and optimize content strategy.
  • Actively engage with online communities, respond to comments and messages, and foster a strong, positive brand presence.
  • Support broader digital marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, influencer outreach, and website updates.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team on various tasks, contributing ideas and supporting campaign execution.
  • Help analyze social media performance data and contribute to reporting on key metrics.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Proficiency in Social Media Marketing: Demonstrated ability to navigate and effectively utilize various social media platforms for marketing purposes.
  • Social Media Content Creation: Experience or strong aptitude for developing visually appealing and engaging content (e.g., graphics, short videos, compelling copy).
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing and Marketing Principles: Understanding of fundamental marketing concepts, digital strategies, and online advertising.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to articulate ideas, craft compelling messages, and interact with online communities.
  • Audience Engagement Techniques: An understanding of how to build and nurture online communities and drive meaningful interactions.
  • Creativity and Attention to Detail: A keen eye for aesthetics, innovative thinking, and meticulousness in all tasks.
  • Teamwork & Independence: Ability to work effectively both independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively as part of a dynamic marketing team.
  • Academic Pursuit: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a definite plus.
  • Design Tool Familiarity: Familiarity with design tools or content creation software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing apps) is advantageous.
  • Passion for Sports: A genuine interest in tennis and/or golf is a significant plus, as it will help in understanding our target audience and brand ethos.
