Role: Social Media Strategy Intern

We are searching for a highly strategic Social Media Strategy Intern to collaborate directly with our founder. This role is pivotal in developing and systematizing our overarching content strategy.

Please note: This is a strategy-focused role. Your primary responsibilities will involve thinking, researching, and planning, rather than content creation.

This internship requires approximately 3 hours per week, which includes a mandatory weekly strategy meeting with the founder.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively monitor and identify emerging trends on TikTok and Instagram, specifically within the food, wellness, and emerging Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brand sectors.
  • Generate and propose weekly content ideas that are strategically aligned with BamJam’s brand voice and growth objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and conceptualization of 2–4 weeks’ worth of content plans in advance.
  • Identify and articulate creative hooks, unique angles, and compelling storylines designed to significantly increase audience engagement.
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of a structured and efficient content calendar.
  • Stay continuously informed about cultural shifts and platform updates relevant to BamJam’s digital presence and strategy.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong, nuanced understanding of TikTok and Instagram culture, including trends, algorithms, and community behaviors.
  • Demonstrate a natural ability to conceptualize ideas in terms of hooks and attention-grabbing concepts.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and a high degree of self-motivation.
  • Show a genuine interest in startups, the CPG industry, branding, or digital marketing.
  • Be comfortable and effective working independently in a remote environment.
