Hourly Wage & Compensation

As a Deli/Bakery Associate, your primary responsibilities will revolve around ensuring our customers receive fresh, high-quality products and an excellent shopping experience. Key duties include:

• Product Preparation: The main priority is to prepare a variety of quality products for customers in both the deli and bakery departments. This involves following recipes, preparing food items, and ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Customer Engagement: Engage directly with customers at the service counter, assisting them with their selections, answering questions, and providing friendly, efficient service.
• Merchandise Handling: Efficiently move incoming merchandise from deliveries to the sales floor, ensuring products are stocked, rotated, and displayed appealingly.
• Cleaning & Maintenance: Critical to success is maintaining proper food safety standards. This includes regular cleaning of work areas, equipment, and display cases, and ensuring all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
• Team Success: Contribute to the overall success of the Deli/Bakery team by collaborating with colleagues, supporting departmental goals, and upholding Walmart’s standards.
