About the Opportunity

The Office of the Provost’s Global Engagement Center is seeking a dedicated Student Employee to assist with fostering a welcoming campus community for both staff and Global Engagement students. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable administrative experience within a higher education setting.

Key Details

  • Hours Per Week: 10+
  • Hiring Rate: $10.00 per hour
  • Preferred Student Classification: Sophomore – Senior

Nature & Purpose Of Position

This position works directly with the Global Engagement Center Office, playing a crucial role in assisting staff and Global Engagement students to create and maintain a welcoming campus environment.

As Student Assistant, You Will Be Responsible For

  • Providing essential office front desk support, including answering phones and responding to emails.
  • Offering general University information and guidance to department visitors.
  • Assisting with various office initiatives and special projects.
  • Performing accurate and timely data entry tasks.
  • Undertaking other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the Global Engagement Center.

Other Requirements For The Position

  • Monday – Friday availability is required.
