Temporary Orientation Support Team Member
We are seeking a dedicated Temporary Orientation Support team member to assist with crucial onboarding and orientation processes for new hires. This is a two-week assignment focused on ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and delivering a positive first-day experience for all new employees.
Who We’re Looking For
- Is fluent in English and Spanish (required) and can confidently provide bilingual support throughout orientation.
- Has experience supporting onboarding processes in the state of California, including I-9 completion.
- Is available to work the full two-week assignment as scheduled.
- Can pass a background check.
- Is comfortable using iPads and entering employee data accurately in real time.
- Can attend and complete required training on HR policies, I-9 procedures, and benefits overview.
- Is highly detail-oriented, especially when handling employment documentation.
- Is comfortable working in cold facility environments, depending on location.
What You’ll Do
- Assist new hires with I-9 completion, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Register employees using iPads and input data in real time.
- Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) support during orientation sessions.
- Guide employees through onboarding paperwork and answer general process questions.
- Support HR staff with orientation logistics and documentation tracking.
- Maintain organization and confidentiality of employee records.
- Ensure a smooth, welcoming orientation experience for all new hires.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
- Must be comfortable working in cold facility environments.
- Must be able to lift up to 20lbs as needed.
