About the Job: Regional Operations Manager, US Region

About the Position: Regional Operations Manager, US Region
As the Regional Operations Manager for the US, you will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless and efficient operations across all aspects of our business within the United States. You will be responsible for strategizing, implementing, and optimizing processes related to logistics, warehousing, last-mile delivery, customer service coordination, and regional compliance. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and strong leadership to drive performance and enhance our brand’s presence and customer satisfaction in one of our most vital markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Operations Management: Develop and execute regional operational strategies that align with SHEIN’s global objectives and local market demands, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Logistics and Supply Chain Optimization: Oversee and optimize end-to-end logistics within the US, including warehousing, inventory management, freight, and last-mile delivery solutions to ensure timely and cost-effective order fulfillment.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for regional operations, regularly monitor performance, analyze data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions. Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
- Vendor and Partner Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, carriers, and other operational partners to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and costs are optimized.
- Customer Experience Enhancement: Collaborate closely with customer service teams to identify operational issues impacting customer satisfaction and implement solutions to improve the overall post-purchase experience.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all regional operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including customs, trade, labor laws, and safety standards. Identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes, introduce new technologies, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Budget Management: Manage the regional operations budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and optimizing resource allocation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in operations management within the e-commerce, retail, or logistics industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership or regional management role.
- Proven track record of optimizing supply chain and logistics operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of the US e-commerce landscape, consumer expectations, and logistics infrastructure.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in building, motivating, and managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders from frontline staff to executive leadership.
- Proficiency with supply chain management software, WMS, TMS, and advanced Excel skills. Experience with business intelligence tools is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Results-oriented with a strong commitment to achieving business objectives.
- Flexibility to travel within the US region as required.
