About the Job:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing an outstanding customer experience. This position involves efficiently processing transactions, servicing both existing and potential customers, and actively contributing to the branch’s sales objectives. You will be a front-line representative, ensuring every customer interaction is positive and productive.

Position Accountabilities:

  • Customer Experience: Deliver an excellent, best-in-class customer experience at all times.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately perform basic customer and cash transactions.
  • Cash Management: Balance cash drawer daily with precision.
  • Sales Contribution: Proactively identify referral opportunities to help achieve branch sales goals.
  • Compliance: Adhere strictly to all applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations, including diligent compliance with Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and escalate concerns appropriately through established channels.
  • Product Knowledge: Continuously develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all bank products, services, and offerings across various lines of business.
  • Digital Adaptation: Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and adapt to evolving digital channels and technologies.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support branch operations.

Organizational Relationship:

This position reports directly to the assigned leader of the branch, ensuring clear guidance and support.

Position Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is a mandatory requirement.
  • Cash Handling: Previous experience handling cash is preferred, demonstrating an ability to manage financial transactions accurately.
  • Customer Service: Previous customer service experience is required, highlighting a proven track record of positive customer interaction.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills are essential for creating positive interactions.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary for clear and effective dialogue.
  • Judgment: Ability to exercise sound business judgment in various situations.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficient computer skills are required for daily operations.
  • Multitasking & Attention to Detail: Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities.
  • Work Schedule: Shifts may vary based on business needs and specific position offerings.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds.

The salary offered will be competitive and based on various factors, including education, relevant work experience, certifications, and other qualifications. This position is also eligible to participate in either an applicable incentive compensation plan or a discretionary profit-sharing bonus program.
