This role offers flexibility and can be pursued on a full-time or part-time basis, with prior approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Risk Management: Develop and rigorously maintain strict risk management discipline across all trading activities.
• Information Prioritization: Effectively prioritize and act upon market-moving information and data that requires immediate attention.
• Position Management: Skillfully manage multiple open positions, continuously monitoring and adjusting hedged leverage exposure.
• Market Analytics: Perform thorough analytics on fundamental and technical catalysts that drive market movements.
• Market Cycle Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of market cycle changes to inform and enhance your trading decisions.
• Cost Management: Be responsible for pass-through fees for Market Exchange Data, FINRA (if required), and administrative costs.
• First Loss Capital: Accept responsibility for first loss capital in your trading activities.

Required Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a closely related quantitative field, or equivalent demonstrable professional experience.
• Proven Trading Success: A documented track record of successful trading in one or more financial markets.
• Market & Risk Knowledge: A strong, comprehensive understanding of core trading principles, market dynamics, and advanced risk management strategies.
• Platform Proficiency: Proficient in utilizing various trading platforms and tools to execute trades efficiently and accurately.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make well-informed trading decisions under pressure.
• Performance Under Pressure: Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound, rapid decisions in fast-paced, high-stakes trading environments.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and share valuable insights with fellow traders.
• Personal Attributes: High level of self-motivation, unwavering discipline, and resilience in the face of market volatility and challenges.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and evolving trading strategies.

Regulatory Requirements

All proprietary equities and options traders are required to be licensed by successfully passing the SIE (Securities Industry Essentials Exam) and Series 57 (Securities Trader Representative Exam). T3 Trading Group will proudly sponsor all qualified candidates to take these essential exam(s). Furthermore, we also offer alternative paths to trade with our team that do not necessitate immediate licensing.
