Job Details
As an Entry-Level Structural Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, participating in all phases of the building process—from initial design concepts through construction administration. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing detailed hand calculations based on fundamental engineering principles.
- Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software for structural analysis and design.
- Attending on-site project meetings to collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors.
- Preparing formal written reports to document designs, analyses, and recommendations.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Certification: E.I.T. (Engineer-In-Training) certification.
- Experience: Internship experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) space, demonstrating exposure to various building materials.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Advanced Degree: Master’s degree in a related engineering field.
- Material Experience: Prior experience working with structural steel, mild concrete, post-tensioned concrete, wood, and masonry.
