Information Technology Intern (Paid, Remote)
Role Description
This is a paid internship role for an Information Technology Intern. This position is fully remote and open to candidates globally, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT operations within a distributed, international company.
As an integral part of our team, the IT Intern will contribute to various aspects of IT, providing essential support and participating in key technology initiatives. Daily duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing first-line technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues for end-users across different time zones.
- Assisting with system maintenance, monitoring, and performance optimization to ensure smooth operations.
- Managing digital and physical tech assets, including inventory tracking and lifecycle management.
- Documenting IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to enhance operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Actively participating in cybersecurity initiatives to protect company assets and data integrity.
- Responding promptly and effectively to IT-related inquiries and support requests.
- Contributing to ongoing technology projects, from planning to implementation, offering valuable input and assistance.

Qualifications
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically curious individual who meets the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Solid knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and/or Linux.
- A fundamental understanding of core Information Technology principles and systems.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
- Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote environment.
- Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal) is essential for effective global communication.
- Previous internship or customer service experience is a plus, but not strictly required.
