Role Description
This is a contract role for a Marketing Intern located in Jackson, MS, offering a hybrid work arrangement that blends in-office collaboration with the flexibility of working from home. As a Marketing Intern at Pittman, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team and contributing to the success of our client initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in conducting thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for our clients.
- Contributing to the development and refinement of marketing strategies that are creative, data-driven, and designed to meet specific client objectives.
- Providing essential support for sales activities, including preparing materials, researching leads, and assisting in client outreach efforts.
- Ensuring an unwavering commitment to excellent customer service, helping to foster strong, lasting relationships with our clients.
- Actively collaborating with various team members on diverse marketing projects, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Contributing innovative ideas and fresh perspectives to help us continuously improve our marketing approaches and achieve our collective goals.
Qualifications
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who meets the following qualifications:
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to effectively interact and build rapport with both clients and internal team members.
- Demonstrated experience or foundational knowledge in Market Research and Marketing Strategy, enabling contributions to data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
- A basic understanding of Sales techniques and processes to effectively support marketing initiatives and client acquisition efforts.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment and a proven ability to manage time effectively between in-office and remote responsibilities.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in relevant marketing tools and software (e.g., CRM systems, social media management platforms, analytics tools) is considered a significant plus.
