Podcast Production & Media Intern

We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and self-starting Podcast Production & Media Intern to support weekly episode production and digital distribution.
Role Overview
This 16-week internship is designed for someone who wants real, hands-on experience in podcast production, digital media, and brand growth. You will take recorded footage and help transform it into polished weekly episodes distributed across platforms. This is an unpaid internship offered for experience or college credit, with strong potential to turn into a paid role based on performance, reliability, and team fit.
Core Responsibilities
Weekly Podcast Production
- Edit recorded audio/video footage into polished weekly podcast episodes.
- Learn and use editing platforms such as Descript.
- Compress and manage large audio/video files efficiently.
- Structure episodes for flow, clarity, and audience engagement.
- Export final files in proper formats for distribution.
Visual & Branding Assets
- Create engaging YouTube thumbnails using Canva.
- Ensure consistent brand aesthetics aligned with Hinesights.
Publishing & Distribution
- Upload, schedule, and launch episodes on YouTube.
- Write compelling episode titles and descriptions optimized for discoverability.
- Coordinate publishing timelines.
Guest Communication
- Email podcast guests for confirmations, asset collection, and episode launch notifications.
- Provide shareable links and social copy to encourage promotion.
Social Media & Promotion
- Create short-form video clips from episodes for social media.
- Draft engaging captions for Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Provide guests with promotional materials for cross-sharing.
