About the Job: Nursing Informatics Specialist at Alignerr

As a Nursing Informatics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in bridging frontline nursing practice with sophisticated health information systems. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that electronic health records (EHRs) and clinical data tools accurately reflect real-world nursing workflows, thereby supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

• Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You’ll Do

• Translate nursing workflows and clinical needs into informatics and EHR system designs, working closely with IT and technical teams.
• Evaluate clinical and system data to identify trends, pinpoint performance gaps, and discover opportunities to enhance patient care and documentation quality.
• Recommend and support the implementation of enhancements to health information systems to improve care efficiency, system usability, and overall clinical outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with significant experience in clinical informatics or health IT.
• Hands-on experience working with widely used EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and a deep understanding of clinical documentation workflows.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret clinical and system data, and the ability to translate these insights into actionable system or workflow improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or evaluation systems.
