Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Assessment Support (K-12, Contract)

An immediate and critical short-term contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual assessment support for a K-12 school district in Clovis, CA. This pivotal remote role is designed to address a significant backlog of speech and language evaluations, ensuring the district meets all mandated timelines and continues to deliver high-quality, compliant services to its students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct remote speech and language assessments for K-12 students with diverse needs.
  • Complete thorough, accurate, and timely evaluation reports and all other required documentation.
  • Support the district’s adherence to both state and federal regulatory timelines for evaluations.
  • Collaborate effectively with district staff, teachers, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to integrate assessment findings and support student progress.

Qualifications And Desired Experience

  • Proven experience with teletherapy and telespeech services.
  • Strong skills in conducting virtual speech and language assessments in an educational context.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of K-12 educational settings and the IEP process.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage assessment documentation accurately and within required timelines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for working with various stakeholders.

Compensation and Logistics

  • Position Type: Immediate, short-term contract.
  • Schedule: Part-time, flexible scheduling tailored to the volume of assessments, allowing for an adaptable work routine.

  • Compensation: Ranges from $49.86 to $69.86 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
