Role Overview
Sloane Strategy is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Sales & Business Development Intern for Summer 2026. This role offers a unique opportunity for students passionate about client acquisition strategy, company growth, and the fundamentals of sales. The primary focus of this internship will be prospecting and outreach, directly contributing to the agency’s client base expansion. You will play a crucial role in identifying potential clients, building robust lead lists, and initiating conversations across various channels. This is a hands-on position where you will work directly with the founder, gaining invaluable firsthand exposure to how a boutique agency generates and successfully closes new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research to identify and qualify potential client leads across targeted industries.
- Build and meticulously maintain organized lead lists and comprehensive outreach trackers.
- Assist with cold outreach initiatives via email, phone, and other communication channels.
- Support the development of prospecting strategies and conduct local market research to identify opportunities.
- Help prepare compelling outreach messaging and strategic follow-up communications.
- Track and analyze outreach performance and acquisition progress to inform future efforts.
- Collaborate directly with the agency founder on weekly sales priorities and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently actively pursuing a college degree.
- Demonstrated interest in sales, business development, marketing, or entrepreneurship.
- Possesses strong, clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable and confident in initiating outreach, calling prospects, and starting conversations.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a structured approach to tasks.
- A true self-starter with a proactive mindset and ability to take initiative.
- Capable of working effectively and independently in a remote environment.
