Role Overview: Summer Analyst, Career Team
As a Summer Analyst, you will be an integral member of project teams, supporting client engagements across diverse industries. This role provides a unique opportunity to help diagnose client challenges and contribute to the design of strategic talent solutions. You will gain practical exposure to Mercer’s integrated approach, combining hands-on research, modeling, and problem-solving with client interaction. You will work closely with senior clients and internal experts in a collaborative, learning-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities (What You Will Count On To Do):
- Conduct research and analysis to understand industry and organization-specific issues, including business strategy, corporate performance, compensation and rewards practices/trends, global expansion, and best practices in talent management.
- Collect and examine data relevant to developing tailored client solutions.
- Analyze clients’ strategic, financial, and organizational information to provide insights for more senior project team members.
- Participate in team brainstorming sessions to develop client recommendations.
- Prepare client presentations, including recommendations for boards of directors, executives, senior management, and HR leaders.
What You Need To Have (Required Qualifications):
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program.
- Expected graduation date: Between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Strong academic achievement demonstrated through rigorous coursework and the ability to successfully balance extra-curricular activities.
- A strong interest in human capital consulting.
- Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future is required.
What Makes You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of data analysis, storytelling with data, and presentation design.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity, seeking opportunities to develop new skills and apply critical thinking and innovative solutions.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate skillfully, engagingly, and proactively.
- Strong time management skills, with flexibility to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing client needs.
- Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Compensation:
- The applicable hourly rate for this role is $27/hour.

Hybrid Work Policy:
