Job Title: Agronomy Intern
Location: Dickinson, ND
Internship Period: Spring/Summer 2026 (Potential to start as early as Spring 2025, depending on business needs and intern availability, extending through the summer.)
Job Summary:

As an Agronomy Intern, you will play a crucial role in collaborating closely with our valued customers, delivering top-notch service, and providing valuable insights that contribute to their success and our operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agronomy Skill Development: Gain comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in general agronomy skills, including crop scouting, understanding crop protection products, utilizing crop nutrient products, managing seed operations, custom application procedures, and proper mixing techniques.
- Operational Execution: Actively perform and support all agronomy and seed-related operations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain the quality of inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and condition.
- Housekeeping & Record Keeping: Execute regular and periodic housecleaning processes within the facility and meticulously maintain associated records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for a wide range of agronomy equipment, including legs, conveyors, towers, various vehicles, sprayers, floaters, and trucks.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, proactively assisting customers with their needs and inquiries.
- Safety & Compliance: Work within and actively maintain an environment that is fully compliant with all state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policies and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or another Agriculture-related degree program.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.
Compensation & Benefits:
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes a base wage, and depending on the position, may also include other earnings such as bonuses, incentives, and commissions. Actual pay offered will be determined based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, training, specialized skills, certifications, and local minimum wage/salary requirements.
If eligibility requirements are met, interns may participate in a 401(k) retirement plan.
