About The Role & Program
Disney Entertainment’s Research, Insights & Analytics (RIA) division is a center of excellence with over 100 world-class researchers. This team measures all aspects of media consumption across networks, digital properties, and SVOD services, guiding The Walt Disney Company’s strategic decisions.

This internship role specifically supports the Content, Consumer, & Brand Insights team. This team is responsible for delivering actionable, data-driven consumer insights to inform decision-making across Development, Programming, Marketing, and Strategy for some of the most recognizable brands on television.

This is a full-time, six-month commitment located in the Burbank, CA area, running from June 2026-January 2027.

What You Will Do
Assist with Project Management: Provide support across various aspects of qualitative and quantitative research. This includes logistics, coordination, reviewing discussion guides, managing stimuli, taking detailed notes, reviewing questionnaires, proofing links, and contributing to data analysis and visualization efforts.
Support Ad-Hoc Requests: Analyze a variety of resources, summarize key insights, and effectively communicate findings to the team.
Create Presentations & Deliverables: Help develop impactful presentations and key deliverables, utilizing relevant data visualization techniques, and assisting in the editing and distillation of findings.
Provide Insights: Contribute valuable insights into topics impacting our audience, including current content landscape trends and evolving viewing behaviors.
Ensure Quality & Timeliness: Assist in guaranteeing the quality and timeliness of all projects and deliverables by coordinating closely with internal teams and external research vendors.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Demonstrated experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Self-Starter: Possess a strong passion, energy, and enthusiasm for impacting the future of content.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and listening abilities.
Exceptional Organizational Skills: Outstanding organization, time management, and project management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Computer Skills: Experience with SPSS, Tableau, or Snowflake is a plus.
Advanced PowerPoint & Design Skills: A strong command of PowerPoint and design principles is a plus.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop: Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop.

Education
Academic Level: Junior or Senior year of college preferred.
Preferred Majors: Major or previous coursework in Communications, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.

Required Materials
• Candidates are asked to submit a short writing sample reviewing their favorite show (outlining both its strengths and weaknesses).

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Current Disney Interns/Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information
• This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from June 2026-January 2027.
• Must be able to maintain a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.
• Fully available Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.
• Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Burbank, CA area.
• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
