The Internship Role & Your Impact
As a Marketing Strategy Professional Intern, you will be a vital contributor to achieving the annual revenue and attendance goals specifically for Disney Sports and/or Disney Water Parks. This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the strategic heart of Disney’s marketing operations.
Your key responsibilities will involve directly supporting Marketing Managers by:
- Building and Implementing Communication Plans: Contributing to the development and execution of compelling communication strategies that resonate with target audiences.
- Evaluating Campaign Creative: Providing insightful analysis and feedback on marketing campaign creative to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and brand standards.
- Monitoring and Analyzing Business Performance: Tracking key metrics, interpreting performance data, and providing actionable insights to optimize marketing efforts.
- Managing Key Projects: Taking ownership of various marketing strategy projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and effective delivery.

Required Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following foundational qualifications and skills:
- Data Storytelling & Analytical Acumen: Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data analysis and consumer insight/research findings into a clear, compelling narrative, coupled with strong mathematical skills and a high level of comfort working with numbers.
- Collaborative Spirit: Proven team collaboration skills, including the ability to navigate and resolve conflicts constructively to achieve positive outcomes.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), particularly in developing professional and engaging presentations.
- Prior Marketing Experience: Previous hands-on experience gained through a Marketing Internship.
- Leadership & Entrepreneurial Mindset: Strong initiative, personal leadership skills, and an entrepreneurial approach to identifying opportunities and driving solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates who also possess the following qualifications will be highly regarded:
- Disney Knowledge: A deep understanding and passion for The Walt Disney Company and its iconic Disney Parks.
- Marketing Planning & Tactics: Practical experience in developing comprehensive marketing plans and executing diverse marketing tactics.
- Sports & Events Experience: Previous experience working within the youth and amateur sports sector and/or events marketing.
- Basic Design Proficiency: Foundational design skills using tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Canva.
Education
- Academic Standing: Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior.
- Field of Study: Pursuing a major or having previous coursework in Marketing, Communications, or a closely related field.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, all candidates MUST strictly meet the following criteria:
- Enrollment Status: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree and taking at least one class at the time of application OR actively participating in a Disney College Program or another Disney Internship.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age by the program start date.
- Work Authorization: Possess unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
- Previous Disney Experience: Must NOT have completed one year of continual employment through a prior Disney internship or Disney College Program.
Internship Program Details
- Location: Orlando, FL area.
- Program Duration: This is a full-time, six-month commitment. The approximate dates for this internship are June 2026 – January 2027.
- Work Schedule: Ability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) and maintain a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the entire internship period.
- Compensation: The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $22.50 per hour.
