About the Role:

The Formation Equipment Maintenance role is crucial for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment within our Georgia facility’s formation process. The primary objective is to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery to minimize downtime and optimize production quality. This position demands a proactive approach to equipment upkeep, including routine inspections and preventive maintenance to avert unexpected failures. You will collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to understand equipment performance, identify issues, and implement continuous improvements. Ultimately, the successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, reliable, and high-performing manufacturing environment as we ramp up to full production.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on formation equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and execute timely repairs to minimize production interruptions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify equipment performance issues and recommend improvements.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and report on equipment status, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work onsite in Georgia, GA.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields.
• Experience with formation equipment or similar manufacturing machinery.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Basic welding and fabrication skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices.

• Complex Troubleshooting: Ability to effectively diagnose and repair intricate mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing processes.
• Technical Documentation Proficiency: Skill in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for accurate troubleshooting and maintenance planning.
• Record Keeping: Meticulous in maintaining detailed maintenance records and reporting on equipment status and inventory.
• Safety Adherence: Strong commitment to ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance activities.

Preferred Skills:

• CMMS Utilization: Experience with computerized maintenance management systems for efficient tracking of maintenance activities and inventory management.
• Welding & Fabrication: Basic welding and fabrication skills to support custom repairs and modifications when necessary.
• Communication & Teamwork: Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for coordinating effectively with production and engineering teams to enhance equipment performance and safety.
