Program Overview:
The EssilorLuxottica Full-Time Internship Program offers a profound immersion experience spanning 10 weeks during the summer, with potential opportunities to extend part-time into the academic year. As an intern, you will perform meaningful work that delivers real impact, contributing directly to our life-enhancing mission. The program is designed to foster growth through engaging learning and career development sessions, one-on-one mentorship, and interactive networking events, providing a holistic understanding of EssilorLuxottica and its brands.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Communications & Public Relations Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team responsible for implementing the organization’s communications, marketing, and public relations strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

Strategic Support: Assisting the team with the execution of communications, marketing, and public relations strategies.
Relationship Building: Cultivating and maintaining effective communication and relationships with various partners and stakeholders.
Content Management: Supporting the management of content calendars, project timelines, event production logistics, social media activities, and asset organization.
Innovation & Engagement: Generating new ideas and driving best practices to enhance engagement with both internal and external audiences.
Content Creation: Developing engaging content for a range of platforms, including social media, press releases, and newsletters.
Research & Verification: Gathering information and verifying facts and statistics for use in various communications materials.
Editing & Compliance: Reviewing, evaluating, and editing content to ensure adherence to company styles, standards, and formats.
Market Analysis: Conducting research to identify emerging consumer trends and client needs.
Campaign Management: Assisting in the management and development of communication campaigns.
Presentation & Reporting: Preparing proposals and delivering presentations, as well as tracking, analyzing, and reporting on outreach efforts to inform decision-making and future strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field of study.
• Availability for the full 10-week program, working 40 hours per week.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required on the first day of employment.
• Demonstrated ability to craft concise, creative, and compelling messaging.
• Experience with engagement and community building on digital platforms.
• Proficiency with presentation software, graphic design tools, and Photoshop.
Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, maturity, and good judgment.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of multi-tasking, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or work experience in similar functions or business units.
• Demonstrated leadership roles on campus and/or active community involvement.
• Experience with study abroad or international exposure.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range:
$25/hr – Undergraduate Interns
$32/hr – Graduate Interns
• Employee pay is determined by multiple factors including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements.
• In addition to competitive hourly pay, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, complementing a first-class total rewards package.
