About the Team:

TikTok’s E-commerce Governance and Experience team is a global team dedicated to ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for users, sellers, and creators alike. Key Responsibilities:

As an intern on this team, you will contribute to critical functions shaping the e-commerce ecosystem:

• Strategize & Articulate Governance: Work on the external articulation of e-commerce seller and creator governance strategies, carefully balancing business growth with risk mitigation to ensure the long-term health and sustainable growth of the business.
• Design Incentive Systems: Design seller and creator credit and incentive functions through intuitive educational interfaces. This includes constructing capabilities for rewards, penalties, and appeals to enhance the ecosystem’s vitality and health.
• Develop Monitoring Systems: Create a robust monitoring system for seller operations and influencer creation behaviors. You will stay alert to various business signals, utilizing data-driven quantitative analysis and qualitative observations to identify issues impacting business growth and consumer experiences.
• Refine & Implement Rules: Actively address feedback from merchants, influencers, and users, using this input to refine and implement new rules and policies.
• Foster Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate seamless internal communication and collaborate extensively with business, strategy, and R&D teams. You will help foster teamwork and collaboration across different product verticals.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• High data sensitivity, with the ability to swiftly identify risks, diagnose root causes, propose solutions, and validate outcomes.
• Experience with international products, community/social platforms, UGC platforms, or supply-demand platforms, including experience from studying or working abroad.
• Passionate about content and e-commerce, and an avid user of related products.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidates with experience in building B-end workbenches and designing account security products.
• Skilled in consolidating complex Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) across multiple cross-functional domains.
• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional engineering teams.

Job Information:

For Pay Transparency – Campus Intern

• Hourly Rate: The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $33.25-$33.25.

Benefits:

• Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
• Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and more.
• Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year.
• Paid sick time is provided (56 hours if hired in the first half of the year, 40 hours if hired in the second half of the year).
• Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for a housing allowance.
• The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.
