Key Responsibilities as an Intern:

  • Supporting data science and machine learning projects by assisting in the development, testing, and implementation of models.
  • Participating in the design and maintenance of data pipelines to facilitate seamless data flow, integration, and accessibility.
  • Engaging in complex data analysis to extract meaningful insights and identify hidden patterns using advanced quantitative methods.
  • Assisting in the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to enhance and innovate data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborating with team members to apply various programming languages (e.g., Python, R) in the development and refinement of machine learning algorithms.
  • Contributing to the creation of predictive models to forecast future outcomes, trends, and inform strategic decision-making processes.
  • Assisting in the rigorous evaluation and improvement of data quality to validate reliability, accuracy, and integrity in analytics.

What You Must Have (Basic Requirements):

  • Currently pursuing or have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Client service intern positions are entry-level roles specifically intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or their fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application.
  • Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student’s final year of school.
  • Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student’s final year of school.

What Sets You Apart (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or Systems Engineering.
  • Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA or higher.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working, and deliver distinctive outcomes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience applying various machine learning techniques to solve complex data problems.
  • Familiarity with or experience utilizing natural language processing (NLP) for data-driven insights.
  • Engagement in predictive modeling to forecast trends and outcomes.
  • Ability to support data engineering projects with a strong focus on data quality and integrity.
