Internship Period:
This exceptional internship experience is planned for Summer 2026. Depending on business needs and your availability, the internship can commence as early as Spring 2026 and extend through the summer season.

As an Operations Intern, you will play a crucial role in collaborating closely with our customers, ensuring the delivery of top-notch service and valuable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Operations Intern, your responsibilities will include:
- Gaining comprehensive knowledge of general agronomy skills, including:
- Scouting techniques
- Understanding crop protection products
- Familiarity with crop nutrient products
- Knowledge of various seed types
- Custom application procedures
- Product mixing procedures
- Truck driving and product delivery processes
- Performing all agronomy and seed-related operations.
- Monitoring and maintaining the quality of inventory to ensure product integrity.
- Regulating and performing periodic housekeeping processes, alongside accurate record keeping.
- Assisting with repairs and preventative maintenance for a wide range of agronomy equipment, including:
- Legs and conveyors
- Towers and vehicles
- Sprayers and floaters
- Trucks and other machinery
- Providing excellent customer service and actively assisting customers with their needs.
- Working within an environment that consistently adheres to state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policies, and actively contributing to maintaining such an environment.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or another Agriculture-related degree program.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Compensation & Benefits:
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes a base wage, and depending upon the position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives, and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, and minimum wage/salary requirements under local law. If eligibility requirements are met, you may participate in our 401(k) retirement plan.
