2026 Multimedia & Communications Internship
Organization: Community Bridges
About Community Bridges: Community Bridges is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving individuals with developmental disabilities in Concord, NH, and the Lakes Region. The organization offers internships to students, graduate students, and recent graduates who demonstrate interest or experience in supporting this community. Each internship includes an educational component designed for interns to contextualize their experience and reflect on their service.
Internship Details:
- Compensation: All internships are unpaid.
- Duration: Internships correspond roughly with the US semester system.
- Summer Internship: June 2026 – August 2026
- Fall Internship: September 2026 – December 2026
- Commitment: First consideration is given to applicants who can commit at least 16 hours per week over the course of the semester. Community Bridges is flexible and makes exceptions on a case-by-case basis for schedules that may not perfectly fit the semester system.
- Location: This is a hybrid format internship, requiring some in-person hours at the Concord, NH office.

Multimedia & Communications Internship Overview:
The Multimedia & Communications Intern will collaborate with Community Bridges’ External Relations team to conceptualize, create, and execute diverse multimedia projects that effectively showcase the organization’s vital work and mission. This internship provides an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in multimedia content creation, with materials suitable for repurposing across various platforms, including fundraising events, social media campaigns, recruitment efforts, email communications, and more. This role is crucial for expanding the organization’s digital footprint and enhancing its outreach.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update graphic design content for both internal and external communication needs.
- Assist with the drafting and planning of social media content strategies.
- Assemble necessary materials for donor meetings and tabling events.
- Provide support for event promotion and other related activities as required.
- Assist in the design and development of monthly family newsletters.
- Conduct research on current community events to bolster advocacy efforts for individuals with disabilities.
- Actively promote philanthropic endeavors and programs on behalf of the agency.
- Communicate relevant legislative events and activities to families and stakeholders in a timely manner.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated interest in advocacy and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Strong passion for marketing, communications, and/or fundraising.
- Ability to work respectfully in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Possession of professionalism, discretion, and maturity when dealing with confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva and/or Publisher.
