Job Description: Channel Marketing Intern

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity for a Channel Marketing Intern for Summer 2026. In this integral role, you will be a key contributor to the Channel Marketing team’s efforts, focusing on driving growth through our crucial contractor, builder, and distribution channels. This internship offers invaluable hands-on experience across various facets of marketing, including:

  • Sales enablement
  • Marketing operations
  • Customer engagement initiatives

You will play a vital role in connecting brand strategy with impactful field-level execution, collaborating extensively with cross-functional teams. A core component of this internship will involve completing three impactful projects specifically designed to enhance sales and marketing performance in the field.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the development and execution of sales enablement tools, such as physical samples, eye-catching displays, comprehensive product literature, and dynamic digital selling assets.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and promotions specifically targeting contractors and builders to build brand awareness, drive engagement, and increase customer loyalty.
  • Help coordinate regional and branch-level marketing activities, including local events, the creation of co-branded materials, and providing essential product training support.
  • Conduct thorough research and data analysis on market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviors to provide insights that inform our marketing strategy.
  • Manage project deliverables, timelines, and collaboration using project management tools like Asana or similar platforms.
  • Complete three high-impact projects tied directly to business objectives. Examples of potential projects include:
    • Launching or significantly improving a contractor sales enablement toolkit.
    • Executing a comprehensive field marketing and event plan.
    • Defining the customer journey and making actionable recommendations for Customer Experience (CX) improvements and targeted marketing support.

Qualifications: WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is a definite plus.
  • Highly organized with the proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.
  • A genuine curiosity about how marketing drives business results, particularly within B2B and channel environments.
