Compensation
Pay Range: $25.00 – $38.00 per hour

Position Summary: Intern – M&A Strategy Analyst
This internship offers a hands-on, real-world Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) experience tailored for a highly motivated and analytically driven candidate. The intern will have the unique opportunity to work directly with senior leadership on critical M&A initiatives, providing essential support across the entire M&A lifecycle—from financial diligence and deal preparation to comprehensive transaction analysis.
This position offers rare visibility and exposure for an intern-level role, reporting directly to the President of Allerium, a segment within Comtech. While senior executives will define strategic direction and identify potential acquisition targets, the intern will be entrusted with significant ownership over the financial and analytical execution underlying both active and prospective transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide robust support for active and prospective M&A transactions through thorough financial diligence and meticulous deal preparation.
- Develop and analyze sophisticated financial models, valuation analyses, and all supporting diligence materials.
- Systematically review financial statements, forecasts, and transaction data to proactively identify potential risks and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare compelling deal presentations and comprehensive materials for internal leadership, board reviews, investment bankers, and shareholders.
- Actively participate in live deal discussions and contribute valuable insights to transaction-related decision-making processes.
- Coordinate effectively with various internal teams and external advisors as required throughout the M&A process.
Education Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, specifically Finance or Business with an Investment Banking focus.
