This exciting career opportunity for a Summer 2027 (June-August) Audit Summer Intern is located in the Los Angeles office.
Work Environment:
CohnReznick operates as a hybrid firm, expecting professionals to be within commutable distance to one of its offices. This position is hybrid, encouraging thoughtful and intentional in-person collaboration. While the in-office presence cadence is team-determined, professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.
Your Team:
• Engagement Team: You will collaborate closely with other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
• Industries: The firm serves a diverse range of clients across various industries, including: Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (varies by office).
• Office: The CohnReznick office provides amenities and collaborative spaces.
• Performance Coach: Will meet with you to set goals, provide feedback, and offer support to guide your career path. Many current Senior Managers and Partners began their careers as CR Associates.
• CR Friend: Will serve as a familiar face and a point of contact when you join the firm.

Your Role:
As an Audit Summer Intern, you will be responsible for familiarizing yourself with accounting and auditing procedures and performing these procedures in accordance with firm standards in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
• Work all aspects of an audit engagement, including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit workpapers.
• Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
• Take part in resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients while assisting the team with daily client workflow.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Plan to complete 150 credit hours between May 2028 – September 2029 in order to be CPA licensed.
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA in both your major and overall.
• Successful completion of two accounting courses prior to the start of your internship.
• Have held leadership positions in student organizations, extracurricular activities, and/or on team projects.
• Prior work or internship experience is a plus.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Able to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• CohnReznick does not offer sponsorship to foreign nationals for Entry Level Roles (new associates and interns). Successful candidates must provide proof of work authorization such as U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status.
Salary & Benefits:
In Los Angeles, CA, the salary for an Intern is $34 per hour. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes access to best-in-class learning and development platforms.
