The A&F Co. Freshman Forum offers an unparalleled, highly interactive three-day virtual event designed to provide college freshmen from across the country with a unique introduction to the dynamic world of the retail industry. This immersive program serves as a comprehensive career readiness initiative, meticulously crafted to prepare participants for a future career in retail. Through engaging sessions and direct exposure, attendees will gain foundational industry knowledge, connect with senior leadership, develop crucial professional skills, and receive personalized career guidance. The 2026 Freshman Forum event dates will be announced in Spring 2026.

What You Will Experience:
As a participant in the A&F Co. Freshman Forum, you will engage in a variety of enriching activities, including:

  • Industry Deep Dive: Gain profound insights from various A&F Co. teams on how understanding customer behaviors, passions, and lifestyles directly drives everyday business decisions.
  • Product Development Process: Uncover the intricacies and complexities involved in the retail product development lifecycle.
  • Skill Development Workshops: Participate in practical workshops designed to build essential retail skills, such as retail math, understanding customer insights, and enhancing interview preparedness.
  • Career Exploration & Coaching: Explore diverse roles within the retail sector and receive individualized career coaching to help you find your ideal fit and chart your professional path.
  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with fellow students from universities nationwide, engage with A&F Co. recruiters, and interact directly with influential business leaders.

Who We Are Looking For (Qualifications):
We seek highly motivated and curious college freshmen who meet the following criteria:

  • Academic Status: Currently enrolled as a freshman, actively working towards a bachelor’s degree.
  • GPA Requirement: Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Brand Enthusiasm: Demonstrate a genuine passion and affinity for the A&F family of brands.
  • Curiosity for Corporate Retail: Exhibit a strong curiosity and desire to learn about a career within the corporate retail environment.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Proven ability to thrive and contribute effectively in team-based settings.
  • Leadership Acumen: Showcase demonstrated leadership experience, whether through academic, extracurricular, or community involvement.
