The Opportunity: Senior Backend Software Engineer

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining the core services and APIs that power our next-generation products. What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement highly scalable, reliable, and secure backend services and APIs using Python, Go, or Java.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and stability, ensuring exceptional performance.
• Participate in code reviews, contributing to a culture of high-quality, maintainable code.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices within the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system availability and resilience.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and system design, influencing the technical direction of our platform.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously seeking ways to improve our tech stack and processes.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Demonstrable experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra) and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile.
• Experience in AI/ML or large-scale data processing.
