Summer Intern – Commodities Trading (Musket)

Basic Purpose:

This is a challenging and immersive ten-week summer internship program designed to fully integrate students into the day-to-day operations of Musket, a dynamic commodities trading company. The program commences with a comprehensive orientation where Summer Interns will gain insights into our company culture, meet our people, and understand the various business lines at Musket. Following this initial training, interns will be strategically placed across multiple business groups, offering a diverse range of potential assignments. These may include roles within supply and trading, alternative fuels, middle office, trade risk and compliance, commercial operations, and other key functions. Summer Interns will be entrusted with real responsibilities, contributing directly to different facets of the business.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Market analysis
  • Product inventory reconciliation
  • Trade risk reporting
  • Cost analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

Education And Experience:

Education:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Currently enrolled in a four-year university program, at a sophomore level or above
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field

Experience:

  • Past Internship experience is a plus but not necessary.
