Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic AI Vision & Architecture: Lead the definition and evolution of our AI product architecture across multiple solutions, ensuring alignment with our overarching business strategy and technological vision. Architect systems that are flexible, modular, and future-proof.
• Technical Blueprint & Roadmap: Translate high-level product requirements into detailed technical specifications and architectural designs for AI models, data pipelines, integration points, and deployment strategies. Own the technical roadmap for key AI product initiatives.
• Innovation & Research Integration: Actively monitor and evaluate emerging AI/ML research, tools, and platforms (e.g., Large Language Models, Generative AI, MLOps best practices, advanced data science techniques). Identify opportunities to integrate groundbreaking innovations into our product ecosystem.
• Cross-functional Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams. Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Scalability, Performance & Reliability: Design and advocate for architectural patterns that ensure our AI solutions meet rigorous standards for scalability, performance, security, data governance, and reliability at enterprise scale.
• Technical Due Diligence & Partnerships: Conduct technical evaluations of potential third-party AI services, frameworks, and strategic partnerships, providing expert recommendations for build vs. buy decisions.
• Stakeholder Communication: Articulate complex technical concepts and architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership, product teams, and external partners.
• Risk Management & Mitigation: Identify potential technical risks and bottlenecks in AI solution development and deployment, devising proactive strategies to mitigate them.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years specifically focused on designing and delivering large-scale, production-grade AI/ML products and platforms.
• Technical Acumen: Deep expertise in AI/ML concepts, algorithms, model deployment, MLOps, and related technologies. Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Architectural Prowess: Proven track record of architecting complex distributed systems, microservices, and data-intensive applications. Strong understanding of architectural patterns, design principles, and system integration.
• Product Vision: Ability to bridge the gap between AI research, engineering execution, and strategic product vision. You understand how AI can solve real-world problems and create compelling user experiences.
• Leadership & Influence: Exceptional ability to lead, influence, and inspire engineering teams and cross-functional partners without direct authority. A natural inclination towards mentorship and knowledge sharing.
• Problem-Solving: Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to tackling complex technical challenges.
• Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present intricate technical concepts with clarity and conviction to diverse audiences.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) or other Generative AI technologies in a product setting.
• Published research papers or patents related to AI/ML.
• Experience in a principal engineer, distinguished engineer, or chief architect role.
• Active participation in open-source AI communities or industry thought leadership.
• An MBA or equivalent business acumen to understand market dynamics and ROI.
