About the Role: Corporate Affairs Intern

Docusign is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic intern to join its Corporate Affairs team within the Legal Department. This is a paid internship opportunity for Summer 2026, offering exposure to diverse programs across sustainability, social impact, and government affairs. The intern will operate as an individual contributor, reporting directly to the Vice President, Corporate Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to internal projects, working across various corporate affairs functions to gain exposure to multiple aspects of the business.
  • Conduct research, analyze findings, and share assessments of relevant industry, political, and policy issues.
  • Develop thought leadership materials specifically targeted for government audiences, including contributing to public comment opportunities.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and playbooks related to sustainability reporting and social impact programs.
  • Assist in the development of compelling communications and presentation materials for both internal and external stakeholders on key corporate affairs initiatives, such as Docusign.org, sustainability efforts, and engagement with government policymakers.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and client progress, ensuring effective and timely communication within the team.

Job Designation

This position is designated as Hybrid. Employees are required to divide their time between in-office and remote work, with an expectation of being in an office location for a minimum of 2 days per week. The specific weekly in-office expectation may vary slightly by team.

What You Bring

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a full-time student actively pursuing a degree in Public Policy, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Expected graduation date in December 2026, or May/June 2027.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to distill complex information and convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • An eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
  • Prior experience in creating impactful communications and presentation materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to tackle complex challenges effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine interest and willingness to embrace new technologies to further operationalize team processes.

Wage Transparency

The pay for this position is influenced by factors such as geographic location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. For California, the hourly pay range is $38/hour – $47/hour.
