This pivotal role places you directly at the heart of our operations, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the founder. You will be instrumental in accelerating our fundraising efforts and building crucial investor relationships.

This isn’t just an internship; it’s an opportunity for deep immersion into the strategic and operational dynamics of a fast-paced, venture-backed startup. Your primary mission will be to drive live outreach, cultivate strong relationships with current and prospective investors, and play a critical part in our strategic fundraising initiatives and investor engagement processes – all of which are essential for Matriosh’s rapid growth. A significant portion of this role requires your physical presence and active participation in the vibrant Silicon Valley ecosystem, operating on-site near Menlo Park, CA.

• Locally Based & Networked: You are currently based in the Silicon Valley area and possess an existing, robust network within the investor community (Venture Capitalists, Angel Investors, Family Offices, etc.).
• Startup & VC Acumen: You bring hands-on experience or a deep understanding of the startup and venture capital ecosystems, particularly in areas like investor relations, fundraising strategies, and the operational dynamics of venture-backed companies.
• Passion & Resilience: You are genuinely passionate about the high-energy, fast-paced world of startups, demonstrate exceptional resilience under pressure, and can communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently.
• Strategic Vision: This role offers immense flexibility. Key Responsibilities: Driving Growth and Engagement

As a Founder Office Intern, your contributions will be critical across multiple dimensions:

• Investor Engagement & Outreach:
  • Actively participate in high-stakes investor meetings, pitch events, industry conferences, and networking gatherings primarily focused around the Menlo Park area.
  • Proactively conduct targeted outreach to potential investors, venture capitalists, and key stakeholders, initiating and nurturing critical relationships.
  • Manage ongoing relationship cultivation and ensure timely, professional follow-ups.
• Strategic Support & Coordination:
  • Efficiently organize and schedule meetings, managing complex calendars and logistics.
  • Prepare compelling, customized outreach and pitch materials, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the founder’s vision.
  • Coordinate all communications, acting as a crucial liaison between the founder and external parties to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Strategic Initiatives & Market Intelligence:
  • Assist the founder with strategic initiatives, including detailed market research, competitive analysis, and crafting impactful communication efforts to bolster fundraising and business development.
  • Provide invaluable on-the-ground intelligence and feedback from investor interactions, directly contributing to the refinement of fundraising tactics and corporate strategy.
• Professional Representation:
  • Uphold the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in all interactions, acting as a trusted and reliable representative of the founder and Matriosh.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives related to fundraising, investor reporting, and overarching corporate strategy.
