Job Description: Social Media Manager
As a Social Media Manager, you will be at the forefront of the company’s digital presence, playing a pivotal role in shaping and executing its content strategy across various social media platforms. This position requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for sports and digital communication. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end content lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to publication and performance monitoring, for both the company’s official channels and the profiles of associated athletes.
Responsibilities:
• Content Calendar Management: Develop, maintain, and meticulously manage a comprehensive content calendar for all designated social media channels, encompassing both the corporate brand and individual athlete profiles. Ensure content is scheduled strategically, maintaining consistency, relevance, and optimal timing for maximum reach and engagement.
• Content Scheduling & Preparation: Prepare all social media posts for publication, which includes drafting compelling captions, selecting appropriate hashtags, tagging relevant accounts, and ensuring all media assets (videos, graphics) are correctly formatted and ready for upload. Utilize social media management tools to streamline scheduling across multiple platforms.
• Creative Collaboration & Brand Alignment: Work closely with the internal creative team (designers, videographers, copywriters) to conceptualize, develop, and refine social media content. Provide clear briefs and feedback to ensure all visuals, copy, and overall messaging are cohesive, on-brand, and align with strategic marketing objectives for both the company and its athletes.
• Creative Asset Oversight: Oversee the entire production process for all video and graphic content intended for social media. This includes reviewing drafts, providing constructive feedback to the creative team, ensuring final assets meet quality standards and brand guidelines, and confirming their timely delivery in line with the content schedule.
• Strategy & Performance Input: Contribute to the overall social media strategy by understanding current trends, platform best practices, and audience insights. Requirements:
