The Role

This is a Hybrid Intern role located in San Jose, CA, reporting directly to the VP, FP&A – Tech within the Finance Department. This internship is designed for a high-impact individual to contribute a fresh perspective and analytical capabilities to ongoing team projects. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to directly support mission-critical finance functions, offering a mutually beneficial partnership by providing students with valuable real-world experience while offering dedicated support for critical analysis and routine financial tasks to the department.

What You’ll Do (Role Expectations)

• Analyze financial data by preparing variance reports for monthly actuals versus budget.
• Provide actionable insights to department managers to drive cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain key financial models (e.g., forecasting, budgeting) to support strategic decision-making and ensure accuracy in future planning cycles.

What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program, with a major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Possess strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A motivated self-starter with a passion for innovation and technology.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Prior internship experience in a corporate finance, accounting, or analytical role.
• Hands-on experience with financial analysis tools such as advanced Excel modeling, Power BI, or similar data visualization platforms.
• Proven proficiency with specialized financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tableau).

Base Pay Range
The base salary range for this full-time intern position is $35-$55 USD. This range excludes commission/bonus/equity (if applicable) and benefits, and may vary based on factors like job-related skills, experience, and education.
