Job Description, Detailed
This is a 10-week internship program designed to provide a comprehensive and structured training curriculum. The program will focus on the Medicare business, preparing interns to serve Medicare eligible members and prospects seeking health care coverage.
Key Program Elements & Learning Opportunities:
• Comprehensive Training: Includes structured training specifically on the Medicare business.
• Networking Opportunities: Experience to include various networking events.
• Skill Development: Basic technical skills training, speaker series, and additional enrichment activities throughout the summer.
• Sales & Presentation Refinement: Develop and refine selling and presentation skills through competitions, simulated practice, projects, and job shadowing.
• Market Exposure: Gain exposure to the organization’s end-to-end sales process, the health insurance industry, its consumer base, and its market role.
• Business Model Insight: Understand the Direct-to-Consumer Sales model and its role in overall distribution.
• Hands-on Sales Support: Support agent interactions by assisting with inquiries and providing relevant information and resources, gaining practical exposure to sales and sales support processes.
Requirements for Application:
• Academic Status: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship. (Internships are not intended for graduating seniors).
• Field of Study: Business, Economics, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Class Standing: Must be a Rising Senior during the summer of 2026.
• Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization.
Eligibility & Preferred Majors (USA Universities Only):
• Students currently studying in any university in USA are encouraged to apply.
• Majors with an emphasis on Business, Accounting, Finance, Financial, Marketing, Economics, Advertising, Communication, Sales, Actuarial, Management Information Systems, Risk Management, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Accountancy, Industrial Engineering are particularly encouraged.
• Applications from students outside the USA cannot be considered.
Compensation:
• The compensation for this role is $18 – $32 per hour.
