Job Description

This role involves supporting a crew, project, or plant team in the planning, scheduling, and execution of heavy civil construction projects. Each assignment typically lasts 3-6 months.

• Gain exposure to large heavy civil construction projects.
• Be assigned a buddy for support and guidance.

• Attend classroom training to develop professional skills.

Typical Duties:
• Coordinating subcontractors.
• Managing project schedules.
• Gaining exposure to project plans.
• Preparing work plans.
• Performing contract management.
• Completing daily reporting.
• Ordering materials.
• Handling change orders.

Hourly Range:
• $22.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency (GED) required.
• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas:
• Civil Engineering
• Construction Management
• Mining & Materials Engineering
• Business Management
• Another engineering-related degree
• Must be a team player and possess a collaborative attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
• Must have reliable transportation.
