Job Description

The Engineering Internship Program at TTM Technologies is designed for conscientious Engineering students seeking to gain professional experience and develop their careers.

Scope and Purpose:
• To build interns’ professional credentials through meaningful, practical, and on-the-job training and experiences.
• To provide exposure to the field of engineering and manufacturing technology.
• To offer opportunities throughout the company for students motivated to learn and grow.
• Interns are encouraged to contribute innovative ideas and work in an inspiring environment.
• Interns provide significant value through increased productivity, introduction of fresh ideas and talent, and often become reliable and skilled permanent employees.
• The program facilitates the transition from school to work and career, potentially motivating students towards a future in manufacturing, engineering, and technology.
• It is also invaluable for establishing a professional network within the company.

Work Locations:
• Selected candidates will work at either the Stafford or Stafford Springs locations.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
• A basic understanding and strong interest in analog and digital electronics and/or microwave theory.
• Interest in software development and exposure to a programming language.
• Interest in test and process automation.
• Comfort with hands-on work (e.g., manual trial testing, soldering, fixture assembly).
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong time management skills.
Strong analytical ability and exceptional attention to detail.
Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
• A proactive attitude towards expanding job-related knowledge.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university technical undergraduate program.
• Must be a Junior going into their Senior year of college.
• Must be scheduled to graduate by December 2027 at the latest.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Demonstrated technical ability and aptitude to develop and work on engineering projects.

Program Outline:
• Each intern will be an integral part of an engineering team.
• Interns will have the opportunity to work on at least one major development or production program.
• Each intern will be assigned a manager and a mentor/champion to provide guidance and serve as a resource.
• Interns will deliver a final presentation to the site leadership team.
• The program includes additional opportunities for professional, career, and leadership development through training and team-building events.

Compensation:
• Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies is variable, depending on factors such as specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
• As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles hired in New York, California, and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Export Statement:
• Interns must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Ability to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor.
• Understanding that access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents.
• Recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation.
• Understanding and following authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL).
• Understanding the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US.
• Managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
