Job Description: Summer Internship Opportunity
Savant offers a Summer Internship Opportunity designed to be a challenging, supportive, and future-investing experience, not just “busy work.” The program aims to build the next generation of professionals who share their passion for helping clients achieve financial peace of mind.
Overview of the Internship:
This is a seasonal, hands-on role providing broad exposure to the financial industry, Savant’s people, and how they deliver on their mission. Interns are paired with experienced professionals who embody the “Collective Wisdom” philosophy, encouraging knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving. Interns will have real responsibilities, access to real mentors, and genuine opportunities to learn.

Internships are available in various key areas across the firm, including:
• Wealth Advisory
• Financial Planning
• Retirement Plan Services
• Tax Preparation
• Marketing
• Investment Research
• Trading & Operations
• Compliance
Potential Responsibilities and Exposure:
While day-to-day tasks will vary by assigned team, interns may gain exposure in the following areas:
• Supporting advisors in preparing client presentations and planning analyses.
• Assisting with investment research and market monitoring.
• Helping create marketing content and communications.
• Participating in team meetings and client strategy sessions.
• Gaining exposure to the company’s compliance framework and operational processes.
• Contributing ideas to projects that support the vision of building ideal futures.
This internship is particularly ideal for students pursuing a CFP designation who wish to see their academic studies applied in a collaborative, client-focused professional setting.
Internship Details:
• Location: Doylestown, VA Office.
• In-person Requirement: In-person participation is mandatory, requiring reliable transportation. Relocation assistance is not offered.
• Season: June–August, with orientation on the 1st Wednesday in June.
• Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Compensation: This is a paid internship opportunity, with an hourly rate ranging from $18.00 – $22.00, depending on experience and department placement.
What Savant is Looking For (Requirements):
To thrive in the internship program, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
• Education: High school diploma and current enrollment in a college program, preferably pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, financial planning, business, or economics. Students entering their junior year in a CFP accredited program are prioritized.
• Location & Commute: Must be within driving distance to the Doylestown, VA office, as in-person support is required.
• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. Savant is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong work ethic and commitment to ethical conduct (doing what’s right).
• Collaborative, team-first attitude.
• Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or Bloomberg is a plus.
