Job Description: Summer Internship Opportunity
This is a seasonal, hands-on Intern position designed to provide broad exposure to the financial industry, Savant’s people, and their client-empowering mission. The internship focuses on building the next generation of professionals passionate about helping others achieve financial peace of mind, moving beyond “busy work” to offer meaningful contributions and real learning. Interns will be paired with experienced professionals who embody the firm’s “Collective Wisdom” philosophy.

While day-to-day tasks will vary by assigned team, interns will always have real responsibilities, real mentors, and real opportunities to learn. Potential areas of exposure include:
• Supporting advisors in preparing client presentations and planning analyses.
• Assisting with investment research and market monitoring.
• Helping create marketing content and communications.
• Participating in team meetings and client strategy sessions.
• Gaining exposure to the firm’s compliance framework and operational processes.
• Contributing ideas to projects that support the vision of building ideal futures.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
This internship is ideal for students pursuing a CFP designation who wish to experience how their studies apply in a collaborative, client-focused financial environment. Students entering their junior year in a CFP accredited program are prioritized.
Internship Details:
• Location: Wyomissing, PA Office. (Note: A discrepancy exists in the “Qualifications” section, which states “New York, NY office.” The primary “Internship Details” section specifies Wyomissing, PA.)
• In-person participation is required, necessitating reliable transportation.
• Seasonal: June–August, with orientation on the 1st Wednesday in June.
• Full-time hours: Typical schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Compensation: This is a paid internship opportunity, with an hourly rate ranging from $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and department placement.
Qualifications:
To thrive in the internship program, applicants should:
• Have a high school diploma and be currently enrolled in a college program, preferably pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, financial planning, business, or economics.
• Be within driving distance to the specified office location (Wyomissing, PA, based on “Internship Details”). Relocation is not offered.
• Be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.; Savant is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to doing what’s right.
• Possess a collaborative, team-first attitude.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally.
• Be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
• Have experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or Bloomberg is a plus.
