Job Description: Finance Intern (Detailed)
This is a 12-week summer Finance Intern position at Niagara’s HQ, designed for individuals who want to be a key part of operations in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Interns are encouraged to think “outside the box” and utilize a continuous improvement mindset to approach projects and develop solutions. This internship offers hands-on experience directly related to the intern’s field of study, focusing on high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
• Project Work: Engage in high-impact projects, often working cross-functionally with various departments.
• Industry Learning: Gain in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing industry and specific department operations.
• Research & Support: Conduct research on both new and existing projects, providing critical support for major decision-making processes.
• Problem Solving: Receive intellectual and creative opportunities to tackle real-world problems and develop proposed solutions.
• Meetings & Action Planning: Attend department meetings, absorb feedback, and translate it into actionable plans.
• Collaboration & Communication: Learn and practice effective collaboration and communication across all levels of the organization.
• Presentation: Create and deliver a comprehensive presentation detailing internship experiences, projects, and outcomes to department leadership.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience: 0 Years of work experience.
• Education: Must be a Current Junior/Rising Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience: 1 Year previous internship experience.
