Job Description: Manufacturing Intern – Mesa

This is an exciting 10-12 week Manufacturing Intern position located in Mesa. Interns at Niagara will work directly on high-impact projects within one of the manufacturing departments.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Rotation and Understanding: Interns will rotate through multiple areas of the manufacturing plant to gain a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing process.
Hands-on Support: Provide support to plant team members, gaining hands-on experience with production methods, machines, and processes.
Project Assistance: Assist with research on new and existing projects and support major decision-making processes.
Problem Solving: Receive intellectual and creative opportunities to tackle problems and develop proposed solutions, utilizing a continuous improvement mindset.
Meeting Participation: Attend department meetings and formulate action plans based on feedback received.
Collaboration & Communication: Learn to collaborate and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Presentation: Create and deliver a presentation to department leadership detailing the internship experience, projects undertaken, and their outcomes.

Experience:
Minimum: 0 years of experience in the field or a similar manufacturing environment, 0 years in a position, and 0 years managing people/projects. (Experience may include a combination of work experience and education).
Preferred: 2 years of experience in the field or a similar manufacturing environment, 2 years working in a position, and 2 years managing people/projects. (Experience may include a combination of work experience and education).
Education:
Minimum Required: Currently a Junior/Rising Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree.
