About the Job: Intern – Strategic Research and Insights

This is an internship opportunity within SRP’s Strategic Research and Insights team. The role focuses on learning and applying qualitative and quantitative research skills.

Summary:
As an intern, you will shadow and collaborate with UX and Market Researchers to help design and build better customer and user experiences. SRP is seeking an undergraduate or graduate student currently studying User Experience Research, Market Research, or Social Sciences (such as Psychology, Sociology, or related fields). The intern will work scheduled hours based on departmental needs, with a minimum requirement of 15 hours and a maximum of 40 hours per week.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
Assist with the day-to-day management of qualitative and quantitative research, encompassing tasks such as questionnaire design, background research, data analysis, reporting, and quality control.
Support researchers on various projects, including user testing, journey mapping, and tracking studies.
Contribute to the development of research reports, data visualizations, and insights presentations.

What It Takes To Succeed (Qualifications and Skills):
Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently.
Past or current coursework in UX/UI research, market research, survey research, data analysis, or statistics.
Familiarity with tools such as Qualtrics, Mural, or Figma is a plus.

Education:
• College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis to determine applicability to the position.

Workplace Model:
SRP currently operates on a hybrid workplace model, allowing employees whose jobs can be performed remotely and who have sufficient technical capability to telework up to three days per week. All employees, however, must live and work in Arizona.

Work Authorization:
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. SRP currently does not sponsor H1B visas, OPT, or other employment-related visas.
