Job Description, Detailed
Purpose of the Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to support, coach, and teach interns on a Supported Internship to help them achieve an accredited Award in Employability and successfully transition into paid employment. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing 1-2-1 tuition support to interns as required.
• Delivering training and support for business partners and families, ensuring the success of the supported internship.
• Preparing interns for job opportunities both within and outside of the host employer.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to support young people with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) in their journey towards securing paid employment. The role is ideal for someone passionate about transforming young people’s lives through career development.
