This role focuses on developing and supporting IT systems, primarily centering on Microsoft 365, IT automation, and helpdesk support, with a strong emphasis on ServiceNow development and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Microsoft 365 and IT Automation Development/Support: The primary responsibility involves working with Microsoft 365 and contributing to IT automation efforts. This includes developing solutions within ServiceNow, providing IT helpdesk support, and ensuring seamless integration between various systems.
• Business Requirements & Design: You will be responsible for gathering requirements from various business units, analyzing their existing processes, and subsequently providing both conceptual and detailed designs for IT solutions that effectively meet their operational needs.
• UI/UX Collaboration: Collaboration with the dedicated UI/UX design team is crucial to enhance the user interface and overall user experience of the enterprise applications being developed or maintained.
• Application Integration Development & Testing: You will assist in the development and rigorous testing of application integrations. This ensures that different software platforms and systems communicate and function seamlessly with one another.
• Feature Design & Prototyping: Contribute to the creative process by helping design and prototype new features and enhancements for existing applications, exploring innovative ways to improve functionality.
• Bug Documentation & Resolution: A key part of the testing phase involves thoroughly documenting and reporting any bugs or issues discovered. You will then work closely with developers to ensure these issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Project Management Support: Provide support for various project management activities, which includes tracking tasks, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and facilitating communication with all relevant stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
• Team Collaboration: Actively participate in various team meetings, including brainstorming sessions, daily stand-up calls, and design reviews, contributing ideas and insights to foster a collaborative and productive environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Academic Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in a U.S. university, pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
• Software Development & API Understanding: Possess a strong foundational understanding of core software development principles and various API integration methods (e.g., SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, OAuth), which are crucial for connecting different systems.
• Programming Proficiency: Proficient in at least one of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, XSLT, or other similar programming languages, indicating a solid coding ability.
• ServiceNow ITAM Experience: Experience specifically with IT Software Asset Management (ITAM) within ServiceNow is required. This includes understanding end-to-end business flows related to ITAM and familiarity with API-based system integrations within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
• Methodologies & Tools Familiarity: Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Waterfall), project management tools like Jira and Confluence, and IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, particularly ServiceNow.
• Work Style: Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently (taking initiative and ownership) and collaboratively within cross-functional and global teams, highlighting adaptability and teamwork skills.
